So what is covered?

1. ENGINE

Components contained within the Cylinder Black and Head including Pistons, Rings, Crankshaft, Big End Bearings, Manifolds, Rocker Assembly, Timing Chains, Timing Gears and Distributor Drive.

2. FUEL SYSTEM

Components include Fuel Pump, Carburetor, Sender Units, Gauges, Air Flow Meters, Accumulator, Fuel Distributor and Regulator.

3. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Components include Motors, Solenoids, Sensors, Relays, Alternator, Starter Motor, Switches and Computers.

4. DRIVE SYSTEM

Components include Drive Shafts, Propshaft, CV Joints, Couplings, Manual and Automatic Gearboxes including Gears, Bearings, Clutches, and Differential (to include Gears, Pinions, Bearings and Shafts).

5. ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM

Components include Water Pump, Thermostat, Radiator, Engine Oil Cooler, Head Gasket and Heat Matrix.

6. STEERING (INCLUDING POWER ASSISTED STEERING)

Components include Steering Box, Rams, Pumps and Reservoirs.

7. FRONT & REAR BRAKES

Components include Servo Units, Cylinders and Valves.

8. E.C.U

Components include Solid State Control Units, Triggering Units, Distributor and Coi

9. SUSPENSION

Components include Control Arms, Bushings, Ball Joints and Pins.

10. TURBO UNIT

Components include Inlet and Exhaust Turbine Shafts, bearings, Bushes and Wastegate Devices.

11. CLUTCH

Components include Clutch Plate, Clutch Cover, Thrust Bearing and/or Release Bearing.

12. VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING

Components include Heater Assembly Vents, Tubes, Controls, Compressors, Pumps and Reservoirs.

13. LOCKS

Components include Regulators, Handles, Locks and Catches.

PLEASE NOTE:

Items that are not covered (not an exhaustive list) include brake frictional material (such as brake pads and discs), worn clutches/flywheels, batteries, service items such as oils and filters, consumables, glass, interior and exterior trim, bodywork, tyres, coil springs, keys, paintwork, software updates, air-con re-gassing, wiring, incorrect fuelling of car, carbon build-up of any component, wiper blades, door trims, carpets, sat nav discs, jammed CDs, blue-tooth connections that are not compatible, aux belts, chassis, exhaust systems including blocked DPF filters, bulbs and lamps, re-programming, tracking, setting up costs, binding or seized brake components, postage and packaging. JLR products could be subject to a premium warranty surcharge depending on model selected.
